Dear Uncle Bob and rest of the Rohdenburg family: I am sorry for your loss, that I only just discovered. Uncle Bob, your name lives on. My father your brother Donald and my late mother Janet honored you by naming me, your first born nephew, after you when I was born nearly 49 years ago. I remember you as a tall, deep voiced man who seemed larger than life, who kind of resembled the pro wrestler Rick Flair. I fondly remember the many weekend visits from Elmhurst to your Villa Park home, not far away from Grandpa and Grandma Rohdenburg on West Ave., Where my brother Mike still lives. I also fondly remember the summer visits to your cabin in Wisconsin. Your children, my cousins, have certainly followed in your footsteps in enjoying and competing in various outdoor activities. From participating in a Wisconsin Dells watershow, to bowhunting, fishing, and cycling. You can be proud that they took your example to heart and share your passion for life. I also remember a couple of weddings that I was invited to for my cousins. Robert K. Rohdenburg Chicago, IL

Dear Grandpa, Words cannot express how much you will be missed. You and Grandma are such a positive influence to all of our lives. Your love for one another is one that will never be replaced, and one that we all strive to model our relationships by. Thank you for all that you and Grandma did for me and my 2 sisters...you were there for everything for the 3 of us girls...baptisms, birthdays, sporting events, first communions, confirmations, graduations, weddings, and always just for a fun visit...you didn't miss a beat and we are so grateful for that! Thank you for being such a wonderful Grandfather!! We love you Grandpa, Korbel & Adam
